Employers' Forum to help city's unemployed

Business in the Community has launched a Citywide Employers' Forum targeted at helping the jobless and long-term unemployed in some of the most deprived areas of Belfast. The forum is sponsored by Bombardier Aerospace and Lagan Construction Group.

BITC has helped 1,400 find employment during a decade of work through the West Belfast and Greater Shankill Employers' Forum. Michael Ryan, vice president of Bombardier Aerospace, said: "I am delighted to expand the remit of the Employers' Forum."
