Expedia remains best company to work for, survey shows
Travel firm Expedia has retained its position as the best company to work for in the UK, a survey shows.
Research by jobs site Glassdoor revealed employees praised the firm's flexible approach, helping staff deal with issues like childcare, as well as communicating well with staff.
Expedia is the first company to retain its top position in the Glassdoor study, which is based on anonymous comments from employees.
Software firm ARM Holdings was second, followed by home assistance firm HomeServe, consultants Mott MacDonald, and recruitment firm Hays.
Diarmuid Russell of Glassdoor said: "Company culture and the employee experience are critical considerations for jobseekers everywhere when deciding where to work.
"The Glassdoor Employees' Choice Awards are solely determined by the authentic voice of those who really know a company best - the people who work there.
"Employers where employees love to work continue to prove that they have a recruiting and business performance edge."
