Former Formula One designer Gary Anderson has visited Ulster University to inspire the next generation of engineers. Mr Anderson, from Coleraine, worked as chief mechanic at McLaren and has commentated on the sport for BBC, RTE and Setanta.

He took part in the university's Life Stories - a series of interviews marking the achievements of people linked with the university.

Mr Anderson, who received an honorary degree from the institution in 2014, also spoke to students at the university's Centre for Renewable Energy about careers in the motorsports industry.
