Film firm investing £150k to put foreign companies in the picture
A Belfast production company is investing over £150,000 in a bid to establish a reputation outside Northern Ireland.
While firms are flocking to Northern Ireland to film, The Picture House based on the Holywood Road is investing £157,000 with support from Invest NI towards a project aimed at growing its export presence.
The company will begin a targeted sales and marketing strategy to build awareness of its services among potential new customers and has appointed an |animation supervisor to deliver high quality animation and CGI effects.
The firm also plans to recruit a development producer to help develop and pitch programme ideas.
The Picture House is keen to build a reputation outside Northern Ireland for film and television production and post production services.
Sister company, The Sound House, recently celebrated 25 years of trading.
