Final preparations under way for Balmoral Show
It's the biggest day in the agri-food industry of Northern Ireland and it's just around the corner.
The Balmoral Show takes place from Wednesday to Friday, May 14-16, and Allan Ewart, chairman of Lisburn City Council's economic development committee, and Colin McDonald, chief executive of the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society, were at Balmoral Park in the Maze to discuss final preparations.
Lisburn City Council is supporting the show, which will be marking its second year at its new home of Maze Long Kesh outside Lisburn, as an exhibitor.
The show takes place as Northern Ireland farmers face uncertainty over the implications of Common Agricultural Policy reform.
