Food firm to create 15 jobs with £1.6m spend
Food marketing firm GM Marketing has announced a £1.6m investment in exciting new projects which will lead to the creation of 15 new jobs.
The move follows the unveiling of a new range of sugar-free cookies, biscuits and jams under the brand of Free'ist.
Founder Gerard McAdorey said the investment marked a pivotal watershed in the history of the company, established in 1999.
Mr McAdorey said: "Launching our own Free'ist range of branded products is an immensely important stage in the development of the company.
"It will position us for even faster growth in our target markets of the Republic of Ireland and Great Britain.
Invest NI has offered the Belfast company £63,000 through its Jobs Fund.
Mr McAdorey paid tribute to the support. "The support will enable us to expand marketing teams in Great Britain and the Republic and to provide additional back office support for them."
