Food store unveils new A-level scheme for staff

Staff at a leading chain of health food stores will now be able to gain an A-level standard qualification as they work, under a new scheme.

Holland & Barrett, which has around 20 shops in Northern Ireland, said it had invested £13m in a vocational programme across its 700 UK stores.

The company said it was the first recognised scheme to cover health on the high street.
