French lessons good for economy

THE growing lack of foreign language skills among UK youngsters will damage the economy unless immediate action is taken, the British Academy has warned. In a new position paper, the Academy says failure to act will have a "detrimental impact" on the UK's social, cultural and economic wellbeing.
