Fusion Heating wins contract to maintain 10,000 social homes
Energy contractor Fusion Heating has won a seven-year deal with Choice Housing to monitor the heating systems in social housing around Northern Ireland.
Fusion Heating - now part owned by SSE Airtricity - will carry out maintenance and repair of gas, oil and electrical heating systems in 10,000 social homes around Northern Ireland.
Michael McDonnell, group chief executive of Choice, said: "This is a good deal that supports our commitment to deliver excellence to more than 10,000 customers across Northern Ireland.
"Reliable repairs and value for money are shared priorities for all of us and with Fusion Heating we can provide responsive services and added confidence, particularly during these colder months."
It's the first major deal for Fusion since SSE Airtricity acquired 50% of it. David Manning, director of home energy at SSE Airtricity, said the deal demonstrated Fusion's business potential.
