Get your mojitos at the ready: Thomas Cook launches Belfast to Cuba flight
Fancy sipping on a mojito in the birthplace of the rum-laden tipple?
Thomas Cook has announced a new one-off flight from Belfast International Airport to Varadero in Cuba.
The service will operate in January 2016.
It comes as the airline also announced two flights to Orlando, and a one-off service to Las Vegas next summer.
Graham Keddie of Belfast International Airport said the expansion of services "will add to the choice available for Northern Ireland holidaymakers".
"Cuba is vibrant, full of life and a must-visit destination in the Caribbean. It will generate considerable interest and I have no doubt it will be a roaring success. The same will also be true of the new route to the Canary Island of Fuerteventura," he said.
"The Thomas Cook plans for Las Vegas and Florida reflect growing popularity and are a clear response to the very considerable demand of last year.
