Google and Facebook for digital conference

Directors from both Google and Facebook will be among the headline speakers at a conference in Belfast planned for later this year.

Dave Geraghty, director of small medium business sales for Google, and Gail Power, director of global sales services for Facebook, will be taking part in the Digital DNA summit in September organised by the Northern Chapter of the Masters of Business Administration Association of Ireland (MBAAI).

Run in partnership with NYSE Euronext, the conference will explore digital media technology and best practice on how to promote business growth both within and importantly outside Northern Ireland.

Other speakers include Jon Robson, the CEO of BYSE Technologies, and the head of engineering in Deloitte Digital UK, Mike Robinson.

Gareth Quinn, chair of the MBA Association of Ireland (Northern Chapter), said: "Google and Facebook are driving digital change in new and established businesses and these technologies hold the potential to help Northern Ireland gain a competitive advantage and open the doors to new markets.
