Google to invest in Belgian centre

Internet search giant Google is to invest €300m (£256m) in expanding its continental European data centre.

Google said that it will upgrade its facility in St Ghislain, south-west of Brussels, Belgium, to meet growing demand. Google said the centre currently has some 120 employees and is one of the most energy-efficient facilities of its kind.
