Bakery chain Greggs looks set to open another Northern Ireland store at a new Applegreen service station.

Signs have now been put up at the Applegreen located on the M1 just outside Lisburn, advertising a Greggs shop.

Greggs opened its first location at the first Applegreen last year.

In November, it then revealed the location of its first Northern Ireland stand-alone store, located on the Boucher Road in south Belfast.

Last year the Belfast Telegraph revealed the bakery giant is eyeing as many as 50 locations across Northern Ireland, with around 10 in Belfast alone. Greggs has 1,670 stores located across Britain.

The UK's largest bakery chain will be rolling out its popular fare across Northern Ireland this year. That includes favourites already flying off the shelves at Applegreen, such as the steak bake, and the sausage and bean melt.
