Bank of Ireland is hosting its latest Enterprise Week as it encourages businesses to reach for growth. And it said the example of Blue Clarity Design Services in Newcastle, Co Down, demonstrated its support of firms in the tech sector in particular.

Darren Fenton, projects director at the consultancy company, said: "Bank of Ireland UK was keen to take us on as a new business customer.

"We knew our potential from the get-go but there was an air of uncertainty from other lenders given that we wanted to expand into new markets. We invested heavily in technology that has revolutionised our ability to deliver client updates in real time via live portals."

Enterprise Week takes place from November 11-18, with events at branches around the province.
