Honours for innovator John Anderson
A medical engineering entrepreneur will be honoured at this year's Northern Ireland Science Park (NISP) CONNECT £25K Awards for his contribution to innovation in Northern Ireland.
Professor John Anderson will deliver a speech at the awards dinner tomorrow night at the Titanic Dock and Pump House. He will outline his own journey from designing the world's first portable defibrillator to his role in 10 start-up firms in medical engineering. He is best known as founder and chief technology officer of HeartSine Technologies, a defibrillation therapy specialist.
