Hospitality gems at the heart of communities

One of the more well-known of Mar Properties' pubs, Lisbarnett House is situated in Lisbane, near Comber, beside Strangford Lough and boasts a loyal clientele.

It consists of a bar, a restaurant and an off sales and specialises in traditional and bluegrass music nights.

The restaurant has received the Green Business Award.

It is a member of The Taste of Ulster. The Jewell Group bought Lisbarnett House, The Auld House in Moneyrea, close to Ballygowan, and the East Enders bar in Belfast, from publican Peter Foy in 2007.
