Innovative firms eye £150k prize

The most innovative firms in Northern Ireland are being invited to compete for tens of thousands of pounds worth of prizes.

The InterTradeIreland Innovation Awards have six categories covering agri-food, life sciences, green technology, business services, social innovation and creative industries.

Each category winner will secure a €10,000 (£8,000) Irish Times media deal and an iPad. They will then compete to win the overall title of 'Innovation of the Year' which awards the winner with a communications and media advertising package from the Irish Times worth €150,000 (£120,000).
