Invest NI helps with £675,000 expansion plan

A Belfast software company is investing over £675,000 in an expansion set to create 13 new jobs.

Blue Zinc IT Ltd specialises in practice management software for private medical clinics, hospitals and businesses.

Invest NI has offered £97,500 towards the investment, aimed at accelerating growth in export markets and exploiting opportunities identified in a recent strategic review.

Stephen Wightman, Invest NI’s acting director of Life Sciences and Creative Industries, described Blue Zinc as “an innovative and ambitious company”.

Kyle Lunn, Blue Zinc’s commercial director said: “We are confident that the opportunities we have identified will yield substantial sales, and the recruitment of 13 new staff will strengthen our team and allow us to build our profile both within Northern Ireland and in key markets around the world.”
