Northern Ireland's top tech firms are being invited to compete for awards recognising the fastest growing companies across the island.

The 2016 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards are open for entries from the software, hardware, communications, media, clean-tech and life sciences sectors.

Peter Allen, partner at Deloitte, said the awards "offer a glimpse into the future of the technology market for venture capitalists".

And Mark McCann of digital agency Flint Studios, one of last year's success stories, said: "winning the Rising Star award last year was a great recognition of our hard work".
