Irish firm Kerry Group, which owns Coleraine Cheddar, has said it is performing well despite uncertainty and sterling devaluation resulting from the vote to leave the EU.

Kerry Group, which is led by chief executive Stan McCarthy, also owns the Golden Cow brand of butter, which it produces in Portadown, and has two operations in Co Fermanagh.

In an interim statement covering the first nine months of the year, the group said there had been a 3.2% growth in business volumes.

The statement added: "The group maintained the business momentum reported at the half-year stage in the third quarter, delivering sustained volume growth and business margin enhancement."
