Commercial law firm Davidson McDonnell has created two senior positions. Vicky Dummigan and Clare Templeton have joined, strengthening the firm's expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital funding, dispute resolution and restructuring and insolvency.

The firm, led by Ross Davidson, said growth was down to an increase in commercial property activity in Northern Ireland and England.

It recently acted in the acquisition of six Belfast office buildings valued at over £20m.
