Legal & General boss steps down
The chief executive of insurer Legal & General is to step down next year after 25 years with the firm.
Tim Breedon said it had been an "absolute privilege" to lead L&G. His spell in charge spanned the credit crisis and a loss of £1.1bn in 28 - followed by hundreds of jobs losses to turn the company around. Mr Breedon said yesterday L&G was now in "excellent shape".
