London's transport chief to give his views on Northern Ireland
The Northern Ireland man at the helm of Transport for London (TfL) will be guest speaker at the Institute of Directors (IoD) annual lunch in October.
Mike Brown, the Commissioner of TfL, will describe the challenges of running the world's biggest integrated transport authority, and give his views on Northern Ireland's transport infrastructure.
He was appointed Commissioner in September last year, and runs a multi-million investment programme with around 13 million passenger journeys every day.
He is an economics and MBA graduate of Queen's University and now lives in London.
The lunch takes place on October 14 at the Hilton Hotel.
IoD director Linda Brown said: "Mike is a perfect example of a local director who has risen through the ranks and delivered under high pressure and is symbolic of what the IoD encourages amongst its members."
The lunch is supported by Rainbow Communications.
