Millions in R&D funds up for grabs
Northern Ireland firms have the chance to secure EU funding from a €79bn (£66bn) research and development (R&D) pot.
Horizon 2020 is a new scheme from the European Commission which has allocated €100m (£84m) of that for companies here to spend on R&D with research organisations.
Sectors being targeted for the funding are ICT, health, agri-food, energy and social sciences, and companies are being given help to apply for the money.
A Horizon 2020 app has been developed by InterTradeIreland to ease the application process.
