The number of people placed in permanent jobs by recruitment agencies has increased for the seventh month in a row, but temporary billings have fallen, according to a study.
Demand for staff has continued to increase at a "solid pace", said the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and KPMG. But the picture varied across the UK, with the Midlands and South performing well, but London and the North less encouraging, it was reported.
