Mortgage move welcomed by CAB

CITIZENS Advice has welcomed government measures to increase protection for vulnerable mortgage customers and to ensure that repossession is always a last resort. The move, announced by the Government on Wednesday, will see the regulation of so-called second-charge mortgages transferred from the Office of Fair Trading to the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

COMMENT RULES: Comments that are judged to be defamatory, abusive or in bad taste are not acceptable and contributors who consistently fall below certain criteria will be permanently blacklisted.
