NORTHERN Ireland's biggest company has secured a deal to supply its chicken products to the UK's biggest supermarket.

Moy Park will deliver ready-to-cook chicken products to 100 of Tesco's stores in the Republic.

The deal's value, which was not disclosed, is based on supply of three lines: Moy Park Chicken & Bacon breast fillets; Moy Park Pesto Chicken breast fillets and Moy Park Garlic and Herb chicken breast fillets.

"We are always looking at ways to adapt and grow in line with consumer trends and across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland there is a strong preference for locally-sourced food." said Paul Burch, Moy Park Director of Sales.

"We are delighted to take on this new business with Tesco Ireland, which is a seal of approval for the quality and taste of our products but also further strengthens our partnership with Tesco."
