Napoleon hosting equipment open day

A Carryduff company is holding an open day to show off its range of equipment aimed at the woodworking industry.

The Napoleon Products event will run from March 21-23 and will host a demonstration of machinery from the likes of Kündig.

The Carryduff firm took on the dealership for the machinery brand in Northern Ireland in 2008. Panel processing machines, joinery machines, and recycling and wood burning heaters from a range of quality manufacturers will be on display.

Director Stephen McCrory said the open day will see experts from a number of manufacturers come to Northern Ireland

"We're bringing specialists in from Belgium to Italy and bringing in sophisticated machinery," he said. "We've had a good responses from people we've called as this is probably the only event of its kind in Northern Ireland and the Republic."

Aside from woodworking equipment, Napoleon describes itself as a 'solutions provider' to manufacturing and processing companies.

Mr McCrory started his career as a saw doctor alongside his father before founding Napoleon Products 16 years ago.
