New creative hub opens first unit

An initiative helping creative businesses start up in towns has helped its first tenants move in to Russell Street in Armagh.

Creative Hubs are now in place in Armagh, Banbridge and Newry, helping creative enterprises develop their business, share ideas and take advantage of low start-up costs.

The programme is part of the Creative Edge project and funded by the Northern Periphery Programme and councils.

Artist Stefan Birch accepted the keys to the new Creative Hub on Russell Street from Derek Browne from Insight Business Consulting and Madeleine Kelly from Groundwork NI.
