New enterprise for Antrim IT firm Zenith

An Antrim-based IT firm has acquired a not-for-profit social enterprise which provides consultancy and support services to the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland.

Six new jobs have been created after Zenith IT Solutions acquired Avec IT, which was established in 1998. Already working with organisations within the public and private sectors across Northern Ireland, Zenith IT Solutions will now also deliver comprehensive IT support to a number of third sector organisations which are looking to deliver sustainable growth with a social focus. Gareth Clements, managing director of Zenith IT Solutions, welcomed the deal.
