New Lisburn office accommodation included in £1.8m investment
New office accommodation is being built in Lisburn as part of a £1.8m scheme. And Lisburn Enterprise Organisation (LEO) said it had already let around half of the 10,000 sq ft space. LEO on Ballinderry Road is already home to 100 businesses which employ 500 people.
Now LEO has built 26 new offices, which will be ready in December.
LEO chief executive Aisling Owens said: "Small businesses represent the life blood of our economy, and are incredibly important in terms of providing employment.
"Our new phase of development will offer top specification offices, and provide an excellent base for new and existing businesses to grow with confidence.
"Equally significant is that this demonstrates our continued commitment to the Lisburn area."
Colleen McAreavey, a senior business advisor at LEO, said the new accommodation would be suitable for start-up companies.
Last week, Lagan Valley DUP MP Sir Jeffrey Donaldson led a delegation of existing employers from the area to a trade event in Westminster.
