New site for mailing firm is delivering

A mailing firm which employs 52 people has moved to a new warehouse and office complex in Belfast's Harbour Estate.

The Postal Group's Sydenham Road premises has been refurbished to fit its three companies – Mail Matters, Postal Sort and Regional Mail Services. The letting was negotiated by Osborne King.

John Hughes, chief executive of the Postal Group, said: "This move has been 23 years in the making, but what a difference it has already made to the efficiency of our staff. We now actively encourage our customers to visit."

He said the extra space now included a new parcels and packets logistical operation, and that there could be more innovation to come.

Chris Sweeney of Osborne King said: "It's an ideal location in terms of proximity to the city centre and to the main arterial road network via the nearby M3."
