Electricity retailer NIE Energy is changing its name to Power NI. Managing director Stephen McCully said EU legislation and the sale of former sister company NIE to ESB had led to the name change.
The change will come into force at the end of July.
Mr McCully said: “Our new name will not impact the quality service we provide and we can assure our customers that they will not notice any difference to the service we offer.”
