Edwards & Company has become Northern Ireland's first law firm to achieve THINK Data Protection accreditation.

Dorcas Crawford, senior partner said data security had always been a priority at the firm but the company had wanted to challenge itself to achieve impartial accreditation.

She said: "The process was rigorous, testing us against almost 50 key criteria and involved changes and taking unprecedented steps in all aspects of our handling, sharing and storing of practice information.

"However, it is no less than our clients have the right to expect."
