PetroChina said yesterday it was fighting a fire at its refinery in Dalian that had been due to restart operations after a blaze in July.
The firm said no casualties were reported from the fire. It said no diesel has leaked into the sea. Dalian is the site of China's biggest known oil spill, when a pipeline blast sent 1,5 tons of oil into the sea in 21.
