Pets at Home shares suffer fall after Kohlberg sells

Shares in the animal care firm Pets at Home took a tumble yesterday after its biggest shareholder sold almost half of its stake for £288m.

US buyout firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts sold 108million shares, or 21.6% of the business, at 267p a share, leaving it with a 24.6% holding.

Following the sale, shares in Pets at Home, which has nine stores here, slipped by 3%.
