Plans unveiled for £26.5m office development at Titanic Quarter Belfast
Plans for a new £26.5m office development with the potential for housing 1,500 workers at Titanic Quarter in Belfast have been unveiled.
Titanic Quarter Ltd and Belfast Harbour said the 148,000 sq ft office development will be located next to the Public Record Office and Belfast Metropolitan College.
Details of the project were announced this morning at international investment property event MIPIM, which is taking place in Cannes in the south of France.
The building is named Olympic House after Titanic Belfast’s sister ship and will be made up of two blocks of six and seven storey offices.
Roy Adair, chief executive of Belfast Harbour, said: “The continued development of Titanic Quarter is a major opportunity to expand Belfast’s global reputation as a location characterised by some of the best designed Grade A office space in Europe.
“Belfast Harbour and Titanic Quarter Ltd will co-develop Olympic House via a new joint venture. It’s a partnership approach which marks the start of ambitious plans for the second phase of Titanic Quarter’s ongoing development.”
Last year Belfast Harbour and Titanic Quarter Ltd resolved a legal row over which party was entitled to carry out further development in Titanic Quarter.
