Two surfboard-mad Portrush brothers will pitch to billionaire Sir Richard Branson after securing almost 5,000 public votes.

Ricky (35) and Chris (31) Martin have been making waves for the last two years building surfboards at their Skunkworks firm in Coleraine.

Now, they have reached the final of Pitch To Rich, beating off 900 businesses.

And they are the only Northern Ireland firm in with a chance of winning £50,000.

Ricky Martin said the pair were "delighted" with the news.

"We want to develop what we have already achieved so our manufacturing plant becomes a centre for innovation and a hub for job creation," he said.

"We have come up with a product which is 100% recyclable for an industry which is expected to be worth $13.2bn by 2017."

Sir Richard Branson said he "can't wait to see which of the nine finalists of Pitch to Rich 2015 will provide the next pitch to transform the business landscape". Winners in each of the three categories will be chosen by Sir Richard along with a team of judges in a live final.
