The Duke of York has helped unveil the latest expansion to Belfast's top tech park, Catalyst Inc. Prince Andrew shared a joke with Christine Boyle, chief executive of Senergy - one of the Northern Ireland firms making it through to his Pitch at the Palace event. He was in Belfast to open Concourse III - a new £6.5m expansion at the former Northern Ireland Science Park.

During his visit, Prince Andrew met top tech firms based at the park, including tenants GTT and Novosco, which have doubled their footprint and are recruiting another 21 staff.

The Duke of York, who is the patron of Catalyst Inc, said: "It is great to be back to see old friends and also new friends from the Pitch@Palace, which held its first regional event in Northern Ireland last month.

"Catalyst Inc is a game changer and is one of the best examples of an ecosystem and cluster to support and encourage entrepreneurship in the UK."
