A cash in transit firm says it aims to create up to 300 new jobs with a fresh £1.25m investment.

RMS Group Services has received the cash from the Growth Loan Fund.

Around 100 jobs are due to be created in Belfast, with the remainder in Dublin and Slough over the next five years.

Economy Minister Simon Hamilton said: "RMS Group Services is a high growth business undertaking developments that will double its existing workforce and enable the company to pursue larger contracts in its target markets."

Tony McAleenan, finance director of RMS Group Services, said: "We've grown the business steadily over the past 11 years, solidifying our position in Northern Ireland while breaking into new markets."
