Shedding light on workplace wellbeing
Workers operate more effectively in a healthy, inspiring environment, according to research by commercial property agency CBRE.
The agency worked on a report with the University of Twente in the Netherlands focusing on health and well-being at work, and its impact on effectivenesss.
David Wright, director of office agency at CBRE Belfast, said: "Our research shows that people function and perform significantly better in a healthy work environment, which ultimately inspires them to live healthier outside of work, at home." A better work environment could be achieved by measures including putting in plants and adjusting lighting.
