Shred personal data or be fined

BELFAST shredding company Shredbank has warned firms to shred all confidential documents after hefty fines were imposed on companies for breaching the Data Protection Act. Hertfordshire council was fined £1, after personal details were faxed to the wrong people and job firm A4e was fined £6, for losing a laptop with personal details.
