Summit to look at trade after EU exit
A trade summit in the summer will examine what's next for Northern Ireland businesses after Brexit.
The Landscape Post Brexit World Trade Summit on June 13 will include speakers such as Lord Empey; Manufacturing NI chief executive Stephen Kelly; Elizabeth McCrory of UK Export Finance, and Brian Telford, head of markets at Danske Bank.
Aimed at local companies looking to expand overseas, it's being hosted by Belfast Metropolitan College.
It will "examine issues and opportunities in accessing new territories following the Brexit vote".
Lesley Batchelor, Institute of Export and International Trade director general, said: "The summit is part of our continuous work with Belfast Business School at Belfast Metropolitan College to raise the skills of those involved in international trade in Northern Ireland by engaging with the business community and government there."
