Technology to help SMEs in ‘It’s all about you’ competition

A new campaign by HP Ireland to assist SMEs use technology to ride out the economic downturn was launched today with three lucky local businesses set to benefit from up to £15,000 worth of HP Server Solutions, HP Care Pack services and IT consultancy.

Launching the ‘It’s all about you’ competition Mary Lou Nolan, director of Sales, HP Ireland said: “Today, almost all businesses, regardless of size, require some form of IT infrastructure or servers to manage business information. It’s in this area that, using HP Server solutions, some of the most significant gains in productivity, energy savings and contribution to the environment can be made.

“HP’s partnership with the Belfast Telegraph is all about putting businesses first and providing solutions that will make all the difference in the current environment. Some of the most advanced server solutions and support will be up for grabs including HP’s BladeSystem which has been proven to reduce energy consumption by 48%. Not only does this allow businesses to boast its green credentials but will help SMEs to gain competitive advantage to manage their business.”

The competition aims to provide tailored support to SMEs with 10 to 50 employees to maximise business perform- ance through better cost and energy efficiency, quality server infrastructure and resilient back-up services.
