Toymaker's JCB range drives up revenues by 20%

Toy designer and manufacturer HTI said sales of its JCB-branded range of toys helped it achieve record revenues in the six months to September 3. The Lancashire-based business, which makes toy under licence from children's TV and film characters and other well-known brands, posted interim revenues of £42.4m, up 2% on a year earlier. The privately-owned company also cited the popularity of its Zanussi role-play as a factor which helped drive revenues up.
