Workers at IT giant Fujitsu to strike over gender pay gap
Hundreds of workers at IT giant Fujitsu are to stage a 48-hour strike in a dispute over pay, pensions and job security.
Members of Unite at the company's offices in Manchester will stay out until Wednesday morning, following a previous strike earlier this month.
The union claims Fujitsu is failing to tackle a gender pay gap, saying women are paid 16% less than men on average.
Unite regional officer Sharon Hutchinson said: " Our members have demonstrated the seriousness of their intent and more industrial action is on the cards, if the company continues to treat them with disdain."
