Lidl unveils new store format and 10 new jobs in Co Armagh
German supermarket chain Lidl has created 10 jobs with opening of a new Co Armagh store - the first of its kind in Northern Ireland.
The new Lurgan store in Pinehurst Retail Park, which was relocated from a previous site on Castle Street, boasts a new "architectural design and spacious interior layout", according to the company.
Lidl first opened its store in Lurgan back in 1999.
It now has a network of 38 supermarkets, employing around 900 people.
Speaking at the new store opening, Nicola Fullen, who is the store manager for Lidl, said: "We are delighted to open in a fantastic new high profile location in Lurgan.
"We are in the heart of a very vibrant community and the whole team looks forward to welcoming our existing customers to the new store and getting to know many new customers over the coming weeks."
