As one of the most progressive dairy farms in Northern Ireland, their innovation, attention to detail and broad-minded approach made them stand out in an industry which often struggles to adapt.
The loss has hit the farming fraternity hard, mostly because of the huge loss to the agricultural world.
But it has also made many in the industry think twice about the risks they run on a daily basis to present you and I with our food and drink each day.
