Time to give workers abroad a taste of home

This just in: unemployment in the eurozone has hit a record high of 10.4%, a figure which means that for every 10 people you meet there, one of them won't have a job.

But that's nothing compared to the Iberian peninsula. In Spain nearly one in four people are out of work, a situation which is driving many abroad in search of an honest wage.

No surprise then that people are heading to the likes of Australia and New Zealand, economies which have benefited from the recent boom years for commodities more than most.

That's another couple of countries to add to the list of destinations for our exports of the goods and services, rather than the worker, variety.

If you can't keep them at least try and send them some home-produced goods.
