Responsibilities: Preparing, submitting and managing planning applications through the planning system on behalf of a wide range of clients, including in the renewable energy and waste development sectors, as well as in the residential and commercial development sectors.

Relevant experience: Senior Planner, Turley Associates. Thomas previously worked for a major planning consultancy in Belfast where he was responsible for progressing planning and housing schemes for private developers, social housing providers, financial institutions and fixed charge receivers. He has also been closely involved in several major anaerobic digestion (AD) projects, a major growth area in the market.

Education information: Thomas graduated from Queens University Belfast with a BSc, with First Class Honours, in Environmental Planning. He also has an MSc, with Distinction, in Spatial Regeneration from Queen's University Belfast. He is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

Personal interests: Spending time with family. Thomas has also enrolled in a part-time PhD at Queen's University Belfast.
